The most glamorous vintage fashion show on racks you could ever imagine, awaits you at Fashion by Robert Black, a vintage boutique located in the downtown Scottsdale Arts District in Arizona; just across the street (literally) from Old Town Scottsdale.
Handpicked items, sourced from all over the world are displayed on velvet hangers (for preservation purposes I suppose) as well as adorning mannequins at every turn, in this gorgeous boutique. Each piece is inspected as well, to ensure that they are in perfect condition. I wouldn’t expect anything less, seeing as the boutiques founder is Robert Black, of the Ford Robert Black Agency (international model and talent agency) and Doreen Picerne, a philanthropist and fashionista.
They truly have created a “whole new vintage experience in red carpet couture” and despite my #fashionablygreen attire, I felt under dressed while carousing their collection of, 1980’s and older, vintage pieces.
My mind couldn’t help but to keep wandering to an impromptu fashion show in their showroom, so much so, that I literally had to fight the urge to try on everything. I kept thinking about how much fun it would have been to wear a rare vintage piece, a piece one would only find on the Red Carpet, adorned with sparkling “anythings”; then I remembered that I could! Robert Black made it possible by sourcing the best vintage around.
The accessories are fabulous as well! I think I have at minimum 5 bags on my wish list. The jewels sparkle like diamonds and their luxurious furs will have you wishing you were back east in a snowstorm (well maybe not, but #imjustsaying).
If you know anything about style, if you need help developing your style, if you need a ball gown for that something special, or if you just need a #vintage piece to satisfy that #fashionista craving, head to Fashion by Robert Black and do that runway thing.
