Arizona fashionistas bound to go insane tomorrow!

As they hit the #sidewalk it’s #christmasinjuly $10 vintage blow out, in the Fashion by Robert Black boutique in Scottsdale. Fashionistas everywhere else will be crying themselves to sleep, because they missed it.

Their vintage price tags will be slashed to pennies on the dollar, from 8am-1pm. Tons of ‪#‎vintagedresses‬ will be sold for $10 #offtherack in an effort to make room, for their new fall inventory. FASHION: Salon Series (1) at Phoenix Art Museum Phoenix

Luckily I was in Arizona for a visit during the same time that the Phoenix Art Museum hosted their Salon Series: History of Italian Style | La Dolce Vita; which was led by Curator of Fashion Design, Dennita Sewell, of the Arizona Costume Institute.

The curator explained very interesting facts about the American bailout of the Italian Fashion Industry, which I had never heard about before. She also shared some great stories about Hollywood’s influence on Fashion, along with some great photos from vintage fashion magazines and newspapers.
