Tooth health as easy as eating an Apple a day

You probably never noticed the similarities of an Apple and a tooth until reading this right?
Well if you have, you’re on your way to reading your fruits and vegetables #theway our savior intended us too.
Similarities are no coincidence, as we all are of the earth, we all consist of very similar chemicals and properties found in the earth. Which makes it easier to understand nutritional values of whole foods, fruits and vegetables, as well as spices and herbs.
What we learn from the Red Delicious Apple photographed above is the tooth shape indicates that it possesses anti-cavity properties, prevents plaque buildup and gingivitis. The red color indicates that it’s going to benefit someone who is currently suffering from such diseases. The yellowish tinge of the flesh indicates potassium is present. The thick stem indicates that it has anti-inflammation properties. The dots on the skin indicate that it has an acid which will clean pores. The red edible skin indicates that it will protect the skin from uv rays. The almond shape seeds indicate the Apple is vital to optimal health. The round top indicates that it helps the body to produce hemoglobin.
These are just a few nutritional benefits which can be concluded just be reading the characteristics and the shapes of the Red Delicious Apple.

Clean out your innards and quit being so hangry!

It’s easier than you think to live a fabulous life full of love, happiness and joy.

It’s especially easy when you fill your tummy with life giving, health producing, vitamin and nutrient rich natural foods, because our emotions are dictated by our sense of well-being.

When your body feels fabulous from the inside, it radiates grace on the outside; #theway proves this.

If your ready to push that hangry, rude, selfish or mean attitude to the curb and get your happy on; the easiest way to do it, is to begin incorporating healthy eating. Choose fruits and vegetables which provide the benefits your body requires, to be at it’s most optimal health levels. You can do it by juicing your greens; in a variety of combinations daily.

Consuming a juice, loaded with nutrients and vitamins such as this one, is best on an empty stomach right after you wake.

Today I concocted one with English cucumber (for calcium and removal of skin impurities and toxin cleansing benefits {note if we were men we would also reap the benefits of penis enlargement from the cucumber too}) + celery (for calcium and anti-inflammatory benefits and prevention of osteoporosis) + kale (for calcium and digestive system cleansing benefits) + grapefruit (for acidity and breast enhancing and breast cancer prevention benefits) + lemon (for citric acid and liver cleansing and anti-cancer benefits) + granny Smith apple (for anti-cavity, anti-plaque, anti-gingivitis benefits and natural sugars and many other benefits) + coconut water (anti-aging and natural sugars and many other benefits) with about a cup of water (natural cancer repellant and hydration benefits) plus a dash of parsley.

I added one of each item listed above and was able to make enough juice for us three ladies.  So being that they charge around $8 per bottle at the Phoenix Public Market, for a small bottle of their similar green juice,  I saved at minimum $21.00 blending them at home.

Although a blender doesn’t pulverizer the fruits and vegetables as finely as the ninja or vitamix, I say anything is better than nothing, when it comes to juicing.  Just note that it’s better to drink this blended, life giving, mixture immediately after you push stop on the machine.

Thankfully he made #theway easy enough for even I to incorporate it into my life. Here’s hoping you make it part of yours.

Bone chilling insanity

After a full morning outdoors, we tried cooling off, in Phoenix, with delicious Taiwanese snow.  Its kind of like shaved ice, only it’s shaved ice cream; topped with fresh fruit and creamy tasty toppings, such as the “cream with black sesame seeds” flavor I choose to compliment my coconut shaved cream, which was topped with mango chunks.

It’s was so delicious I went delirious (see photo above).

I’ll be posting about this fun bone chilling spot soon, so be forewarned,  because addiction is in your near future, after you get a taste of this mind blowing treat.

Thankfully it’s right nextdoor  to a place that already holds my heart.

It was already a beautiful start to a wonderful day of hanging with my seester. We started our day at 8am with a stop at the downtown Phoenix Public Market, which is located on Central Avenue between Pierce Avenue and Fillmore Avenue.

We not only scored cheap deals on fresh local produce; I also scored on a FREE book about climate change from the Free Little Library. Just in case you never knew they had a Free Little Library,  now you know.  So next time you step into downtown Phoenix during a Saturday morning and you have a book or two too spare;  please drop it off in the box you see above.

End of Summer Travel fun in the sun

There has never been a better way to end the summer, than to head to Las Vegas for some sparkling fun in the sun. We went for 10 days, which seemed like 20. Just to make things a little more interesting we stayed on Freemont Street in Downtown for the first 5 days, before we moved into condos on Tropicana Avenue, for the last 5 days. We ate, gambled, shopped, took in some entertainment and I flew like superman, under the canopy of neon lights along Freemont Street.

Flying at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour under that canopy was the best way to bring in my Birthday this year, thankfully my sister was along for the 1,700 foot ride! Another highlight was finding the Downtown Container Park. It was such an awesome experience walking around that park, because they have done some amazing things with old freight containers. Its very contemporary and green; encouraging others to learn about recycling with their educational recycling centers. They also house one of the tallest interactive tree houses I have ever climbed! It was so tall that I was shocked by static for most of my way down the slide, definitely electrifying! A sure way to get me to remember that ride too.

Another all time favorite experience was making a mess at the new Hot and Steamy restaurant in Chinatown. We ate pick and peel shrimp and crab legs, until we couldn’t move; leaving our mess right on the table. There are so many  new foodie places, we were in heaven. The freshest mediterranean food is available right on Freemont Street by the Slotzilla stairwell; however its often overlooked because of the big column in front, thankfully we managed to smell our way in.

If you happen to be in Las Vegas, check out some of the places i’ve shared, then let me know what you thought below in a comment.
